July 8, 2019 - The S&T Diplomatic Circle's July visit allowed a profound insight into a state-of-the-art R&D facility for IoT. The Shanghai Industrial Technology Research Institute (SITRI) was established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai to focus on the development and commercialization of 'More than Moore' (MtM) technology to power the Internet of Things. SITRI is an open innovation platform that encompasses an 8-inches MtM micro-fabrication line, state-of-the-art R&D facilities, engineering services and market intelligence, supply-chain partners and industry association, as well as dedicated investment funds. It offers the resources, support and services for the whole product life cycle of innovation - from commercialization of new technologies, to engineering complete products and systems, to engaging with the supply chain, customers and partners internationally. We are very grateful to our host Senior Vice President Yandon (Alex) Gu and his excellent team at SITRI to receive the S&T Diplomatic Circle. The visit was nicely organized by our French colleagues Gaetan Messin in collaboration with SITRI - Thank you!
