April 22, 2021 - 20 colleagues from the S&T Diplomatic Circle Shanghai joined the visit to Tencent Games, which is a global leader in PC client and mobile games. The visit to Tencent Games Shanghai office offered an opportunity to learn about Tencent’s journey into the world of gaming, its operations and company strategy, industry trends, and international collaboration and global investments. Tencent has over 60,000 employees, 50% of whom are in R&D. Interactive Entertainment Group (IEG), which is responsible for Tencent games and eSports, is the largest division, and has seen robust earnings from mobile hits like Honor of Kings (in China) and PUBG Mobile (internationally).
